Groups and plans
Different strictness per app set.
A protection group is a list of apps you want to block. Each group gets one strictness plan: Easy, Medium, Hard, or Custom. One group for doomscrolling is enough, or split them up.
How groups work
You name the group. You fill it. The plan decides how hard those apps are to open. Multiple non-empty groups enforce at the same time. Manaya does not auto-assign apps into buckets for you.

*Hard / Strict defaults to a full block for that group. The 10-minute Wait and 2-minute Open window apply if you switch to Wait. Block app deletion is device-wide: it turns on when any non-empty group enables it (Hard does by default).
Questions about groups and plans
Do I need more than one group?
No. One group with all your apps works like a single plan. Add more groups only if you want different strength for different apps, for example Hard for social and Easy for something lighter.
Which plan should I start with?
If you mostly need a pause, Easy. If you want schedules and a daily open limit, Medium. If Screen Time Ignore Limit always wins, Hard. If you want every dial on that group, Custom.
What is Wait vs Open window?
Wait is the pause before a protected app can open. Open window is the short time it stays usable after you finish the Wait, then the shield returns. Prefer exact apps over whole categories when you want Wait then Open.
Can I change a group later?
Yes. Adding apps is direct. Removing apps, weakening a plan, or turning protection off follows that group's friction on purpose, especially on Hard.
Are groups free right now?
Yes. Everything is free for this first public release. When pricing arrives, a useful free option stays.
